The imposing view of the mount Musin\u00e8 suggested to conceive the building as a standpoint on the mount itself and on the surrounding area of the Alps. The shape of the building is indeed designed to allow from the circular courtyard the view of the woods nearby and of the mountains, as well as to exclude the view towards the generic buildings of the sprawl. In this sense the building functions as an optical device that gives the illusion to be closer to wilderness, in a deliberate strategy of illusion or reverie.<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>
