The roof has been entirely redesigned with a new, non-thrusting wooden structure that is well insulated for energy efficiency. The dormers have also been uniformly redesigned, fully respecting both landscape constraints and the building\u2019s original appearance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><div class='yrm-content yrm-content-1 yrm-content-hide  ' id='yrm-QkAKp' data-id='1' data-show-status='false' data-after-action='' style=\"visibility: hidden;height: 0;\">\n\t\t\t<div id='yrm-inner-content-yrm-QkAKp' class='yrm-inner-content-wrapper yrm-cntent-1'><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The attic is being converted into new offices: the interior spaces are being reorganized, the terracotta floors are being restored and integrated, the historic wooden doors are being restored and reused, new restrooms are being added, and a discreet, &#8220;concealed&#8221; system distribution is being installed within the cavities and along the central corridor.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At the same time, the building is being upgraded to comply with fire safety regulations by installing a new underground pool, pump room, and distribution network. Stairs, facades, windows, and ironwork are also being restored with meticulous attention to the original materials.
